You can come Home For Your Campaign....but please don't bring your wife along! Bayelsa Youths Warn GEJ.

Pres. Jonathan will campaign in Bayelsa on Feb 5, but some youths don’t want his wife to tag along.

The group, the Bayelsa Youth Vanguard, said that if Patience Jonathan accompanies her husband, they would disrupt the rally. Haba! Why?

The Spokesperson of BYV, Precious Ebi Johnson, said in a statement in Abuja on Thursday that Patience Jonathan will only be allowed to come to the state if she retraced her steps, “otherwise we will mobilize against the president’s rally.”

“We are constrained to issue this statement bearing this important warning to bar the First Lady from accompanying President Goodluck Jonathan to Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, for the presidential rally on 5th of February.

“Our action is well informed by the various steps and activities of the First Lady in recent times which portend clear danger for the good health of our dear state.

“We note with regret the various attempts by the First Lady to create crisis in the state through subterfuge or using surrogates.

“As things are, we want to make it very clear to her that she has to change this attitude or we go against her coming to Yenagoa with the president for the presidential campaign.

“Indeed, we may be forced to mobilize against the entire rally.

“For the avoidance of doubt, we want to state clearly that we love our dear president. President Goodluck Jonathan is our own even when we have to add that we have not really benefited from his administration as expected.

“We dare say the president should not come to Bayelsa with his wife if she continues to fuel crisis and destabilise the state for selfish reasons. This is not Rivers State and we won’t allow it to happen.”

It is well oo...

President Jonathan is “irresponsible” - Combative South African politician and MP, Julius Malema

Julius Malema, the former president of the Youth League of the South African ruling party, the Africa National Congress, and now a member of parliament has blasted Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Jonathan, over the kind of leadership he has exhibited over the recent killings in Baga.

Speaking at a press briefing, Mr. Malema mocked Mr. Jonathan.

“Eh Goodlook, or Goodluck or whatever his name is or badluck I don’t know …He is quick to release statement about the killing in Paris; but don’t (doesn’t) say anything about the killings in his own country. That’s an irresponsible leadership. We are really saddened by what is happening in Nigeria. It is highly disturbing.

“And we need South African Government to intervene and we will be raising the matter in the Parliament. We will make the Parliament to debate it as an urgent matter and pass the resolution for South African intervention in Nigeria,” he said.

[I Fear No Eviil!] President Goodluck Jonathan Storm Maiduguri, the Den of Boko Haram.

On Thursday, President Goodluck Jonathan made a surprise trip to Maiduguri, the Borno state capital to visit the troops battling the Boko Haram insurgency in that state.

Many have said this is coming rather too late as the General Elections are just few days away......WHAT DO YOU THINK?
