The APC vice presidential candidate,
Prof Yemi Osinbajo, took to Facebook during Pres. Goodluck Jonathan’s
media chat on Wednesday, to express his disagreement with the
president’s attempt to make a distinction between corruption and
stealing.
Pres. Jonathan had gone into a lengthy
attempt to differentiate between the two during his chat, concluding
that he “didn’t say stealing is good, I only said stealing isn’t
corruption. ”
However Osinbajo took to his Facebook page to table his disagreement.
“Corruption is defined as ‘dishonest or
fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery’. The
definition is simple and we all know what it is, yet Mr. President has
spent the last several minutes of his media chat explaining to Nigerians
what it is, suggesting we are all somehow confused about this.
