Chelsea are out of this season’s FA Cup, following a shock 4-2 defeat at Stamford Bridge to Bradford. The Blues had raced into a two-goal lead, thanks to strikes from Gary Cahill and Ramires, but the visitors fought back through Jonathan Stead, Felipe Morais, Andrew Halliday and Mark Yeates to claim a famous win.
Manchester City, fresh from a warm weather trip to Dubai, were also beaten 2-0 by Middlesbrough, who are currently managed by Jose Mourinho’s former assistant, Aitor Karanka.
In the other matches, Tottenham Hotspurs lost 2-1 to Leicester City, Blackburn beat 10-man Swansea 2-1, Victor Anichebe scored a brace as West Brom won 2-1 away to Birmingham. Crystal Palace beat Southampton 3-2 and Sunderland drew goalless with Fulham
