Since
Pres. Goodluck Jonathan lost the presidential election last month, his
wife, Patience Jonathan, had not made a public appearance until today.
Patience Jonathan has skipped every public event which she will
normally attend until today when she attended the farewell service put
together for the first family by the Church of Nigeria (Anglican
Communion), Cathedral Church of the Advent, Gwarimpa, Abuja.
At the service, Dame Jonathan read the new testament lesson from 1st Timothy 6:11-19.
There was thanksgiving by the first family during the service while
the Church also presented a farewell gift to the first family.
Patience Jonathan looked very happy and peaceful. See photos:
