In Honour Of GMB'sReturn To Nigeria, #babawhileyouweregone Breaks Twitter.

Nigerians! What a people!

So Buhari returned to Nigeria today after 15 days out of the country, and the next thing people knew was to report to him all that had been happening in the country while he was away. And trust Nigerians to do it in that inimitabl style which only them can muster.

Nigerians on social media on Friday created a new hashtag #BabaWhileYouWereGone with which they are now running social commentary across social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
The hashtag, which appears to have gone viral, essentially speaks to the return of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, to Nigeria after almost two-week sojourn in the United Kingdom.
The hashtag is being used by many supporters of the Buhari/APC campaign and social media savvy followers to report to him what transpired in the country during his absence.
All day long, the hashtag has been a vehicle of light-hearted bantering and humour, which panders to satirical sleights and commentaries, while also gaining notoriety for excoriating the Buhari and APC opposition.
The hashtag apparently underlines the genius of Nigerians in finding comic relief from any event or situation, whether tragic, frivolous or insignificant.

It was so hilarious, you should ENSURE you are seated while reading the tweets below:
