Gombe Police Warns Politicians, Supporters Ahead Of Jonathan, Buhari Visits Next Week

POLICE-LOGO-300x1872The Gombe State police Command has urged political parties in the state to caution their supporters on the need to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and avoid anything that will undermine or create unnecessary problems when the presidential candidates of both the Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress visit the state on February 2 and 3, respectively.

A statement by the command’s spokesman, DSP Fwaje Atajiri, said the PDP presidential campaign train led by President Goodluck Jonathan, will make a stop at the state on February 2, while that of APC led by Muhammadu Buhari, will be in Gombe the following day, February 3.

The statement, therefore, urged parents and guardians to warn their children and wards to be law abiding and to conduct themselves peacefully as any act of criminality will not be tolerated.
